Thanks to your support, 1,564 services were provided in Necahual Mexico in 2025. Children, youth, and their families benefited from 1,430 psychological counseling sessions, 121 social work consultations, and 13 legal consultations, all of which contribute to their personal development and family integration.
Our programs in Mexico and the United States help hundreds of children and young people in vulnerable situations discover new opportunities and achieve positive change in their lives.

On Christmas Day, a group of alumni and friends of the Necahual Foundation visited the children and young people living at the Villas Miravalle shelter, celebrating with them by playing board games, organizing a soccer tournament, recreational activities, piñatas, and snacks.
With your support, in addition to the “Christmas in September” celebration held during the annual visit of the Necahual Foundation Board, the children enjoyed a memorable celebration on this special day.

Thanks to your support, the Necahual Foundation helped host the traditional “Posada” in Melrose Park, a celebration that brings families together and preserves Mexican culture. Children enjoyed Christmas carols, a nativity reenactment, tasty tamales and sweets, and the excitement of breaking piñatas.

Thanks to your support, the Necahual Foundation celebrated Thanksgiving at the Villas Miravalle shelter, where 95 children and young people enjoyed this beautiful holiday for the first time with a delicious dinner of roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, sweet corn, carrots, and pumpkin pie. During a moment of reflection, they expressed their gratitude to Necahual’s generous donors for the valuable programs that benefit them so greatly.

Thanks to your support, the Necahual Foundation carries out various programs that benefit more than 110 children and young people living in Villas Miravalle.
Members of the Necahual Foundation Board, together with Gabriela Barragán, President of DIF Guadalajara, and Bernardo Fernández, Chief of Staff of the Government of Guadalajara, visited the shelter. They were warmly welcomed by the children with beautiful songs and, around a decorated tree, celebrated “Christmas in October.” Each child received a personalized gift, and the celebration ended with everyone enjoying delicious hot dogs and ice cream together.

Thanks to your support, Necahual México provides psychological care, social work services, and legal counseling to children, youth, and their families living in various communities.
Members of the Necahual Foundation Board, accompanied by the Mayor of Juanacatlán, Ana Rosa Vergara, visited the facilities, where they met with some of the beneficiaries and listened to their testimonies about how the therapies have helped them gain a new perspective on life and build stronger relationships with their families.

Thanks to your support, the Necahual Foundation buys new clothing and footwear for the 105 children and young people of Villas Miravalle each year.
They can choose the clothes they like best, something many of them hadn't been able to do before, as they wore hand-me-downs or clothes left behind by older children.

The Necahual Foundation carries out projects in both Mexico and the United States that promote the integration of children and youth through educational and recreational activities.
Thanks to your support, more than 130 children and family members had the chance to attend a Chicago White Sox vs. St. Louis Cardinals baseball game.
They enjoyed a full experience — including transportation on three buses, commemorative t-shirts, game tickets, hot dogs, tasty snacks, and drinks — but above all, the thrill of being at the stadium, which for many was their very first time.
This event was made possible through the collaboration of the Village of Melrose Park, Mayor Ron Serpico, CID, FEDEJAL, NAIMA, Republic Bank, and the Necahual Foundation.

The team of psychologists from Necahual Mexico gave a series of talks on ‘responsible sexuality’ to 24 Middle School groups in Juanacatlán.

The Necahual Foundation is supported by generous volunteers who dedicate their time and talents to organizing events and programs that benefit those most in need.
One such volunteer is Mica Suárez, who, since 2006, has prepared a personalized, handwritten, and beautifully decorated birthday card for every child and young person at Villas Miravalle.
These cards are cherished by the hundreds of young people who have passed through the shelter over the years, as they serve as a reminder that they are special and that the Necahual Foundation deeply cares for them.

Thanks to your support, 100 children and young people from the Villas Miravalle shelter receive a “Domingo” (weekly allowance), which teaches them the value of saving and cooperation. They use it to buy a ball, go for a walk, get candy, or purchase a small toy.

With your support, in February, the Necahual Foundation organized a friendship gathering with the children and youth of the Villas Miravalle shelter to celebrate Valentine’s Day alongside VM Alumni and friends.
Necahual psychologists gave an engaging lecture to the teenagers on relationships and the prevention of dating violence.
Through a soccer tournament, a bracelet-making and marshmallow-decorating workshops, board games, and delicious pizzas, everyone enjoyed a memorable afternoon.

With your support, the Necahual Foundation helped purchase the necessary supplies to host a December celebration in Arroyo Chico, a small, remote town nestled in the mountains of Durango.
Arroyo de Sonrisas organized a community gathering with tamales and atole, providing essential food supplies to 50 families and a small gift for each of the 28 children and young people who live there. We sincerely thank Montenegro for donating the bags for these deliveries.
